History was made this week when Headlines became the first salon in Hertford to win a place in the national finals of the prestigious hairdressing award – the L'Oreal Colour Trophy – and the only salon in the county to have achieved the distinction this year.
Headlines have won through to the finals with their entry in the Men's Image Award with an innovative style created exclusively by the salon and modelled by Oliver Sexton, son of Sue Sexton, salon owner and manager.
"It’s a thrilling result for us" says Sue, "and a well deserved reward for our talented team of stylists who worked so hard to create the winning 'look'. We’re now waiting with baited breath for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Final".
The Grand Final, which is billed as 'a magnificent gala event boasting celebrity hosts, breathtaking shows and the highest calibre of hairdressing the UK has to offer', takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on June 28th 2010.

Danielle Forbes has been selected as the Headlines "Face of 2010". As well as becoming the face of the salon, Danielle also won a photo session and 10x8 canvas courtesy of "Photography by Louise", a styling session with the Women's Society Boutique along with an outfit, an Indulgence Nail and Beauty Care package for 6 months, a complete hair colour and hair styling package for 12 months and a hair care product package compliments of L'Oreal.
